Weight loss question? |
|---|---|
| I have been working so hard for the past month to lose weight and it just isn't happening. I have been eating 1500-1800 calories a day, drinking tons of water, walking 30 minutes 3 or 4 times a week, and lifting weights nightly. I've also been taking phentermine as an aid in all this.
Well, at the beginning of my attempt at losing weight, I was at 158. Now I'm at 154 and have been for two weeks. Its pretty frustrating to be putting forth all this effort and not seeing my weight go down. Could my lifting weights seriously be keeping the scale from going down? I would be okay with that but it would seem to me that it would take a while for the muscle to replace the fat and that my weight should go down first before going up. And yes, I do feel better and I think I've gotten thinner but I might just be kidding myself. |
